Marijuana grow operation find leads to two arrests

Two men accused of running a marijuana grow operation were arrested Thursday, according to police.

Police went to the 3500 block of Woodland Drive after receiving a report of a disturbance involving a weapon. Officers said while at the scene, they found a marijuana grow operation.

Officers obtained a search warrant and seized eight plants along with cultivation equipment and various pills.

David Barbero was arrested on suspicion of distribution, delivery, manufacture and producing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Barbero had glass pipes, marijuana and marijuana seeds and several containers of plant fertilizer in his bedroom.

Police also arrested Casey Barbero on suspicion of distribution, delivery, manufacture and producing a controlled substance.
