Sunshine and seasonal weather through most of the week

TONIGHT: It will be a chilly night across Mid-Missouri as temperatures fall into the mid to upper 30s. Thanks to winds shifting out of the south under 11 mph, temperatures will slowly fall through the night and eventually level off after 2 am. Despite the warmer night, wind chill values by the morning will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

MONDAY: After a chilly start to the morning, southwesterly winds will warm us through the day. Winds will be breezy up to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. This will aid in warming us in the lower 60s through the afternoon hours, with a few passing clouds. Winds will be the breeziest during the afternoon hours and died down as we head into the evening.

EXTENDED: The warmth is short-lived, as a cold front will track through the region and knock our temperatures into the lower 50s Tuesday. The coldest air associated with the cold front will be slow to arrive, but by Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning it will arrive with a vegenance. After several mornings in the 30s and 40s, we’ll see our overnight low fall into the lower 20s. Wind chill values will likely be in the upper teens when Wednesday morning, with actual highs topping out in the lower 40s. By Thanksgiving, we remain seasonable with highs in the 50s and plenty of sunshine. Sunshine will persist through the week, with no rain expected in the next seven days.
