Columbia police confirm gunshots in downtown Columbia

Columbia police are investigating a shooting that happened in downtown Columbia Friday night.

Police said there were no injuries or property damage reported, but they found several gun shell casings in and around Alley A.

Witnesses told ABC 17 News that they heard five to six gunshots around midnight near Broadway and Ninth Street.

Police are still investigating.
