Building a total loss after fire in Macon

A building is a total loss after Macon firefighters responded to a fire on Missouri and Patton streets on Thursday night.

Emergency crews were still at the scene Friday afternoon but said the fire is mostly extinguished.

Firefighters said they have not yet found the cause of the fire.

Firefighters confirmed that the building was home to five businesses.
