Osage Beach police arrest suspect accused of having drugs, needles
Osage Beach police arrested Lorrena Webber on Wednesday after officers pulled her over because a left rear tail light was out on her car.
According to the probable cause statement, Webber told officers she did not have a driver’s license and was unable to provide proof of insurance.
Police said they asked to search Webber’s car because her behavior was consistent with drug use. Webber denied consent but then admitted there was a methamphetamine pipe inside her purse.
Officers said they got permission to search her car and found two hypodermic needles, a spoon, multiple pieces of cotton that is commonly used as a filter, and four more needles.
Webber told officers she uses the needles to inject her pills.
According to the probable cause statement, when Webber was inside of the patrol vehicle she attempted to hide pills underneath the seat.
Police said the pills were later found to be codeine, hydrocodone and oxycodone.
According to the probable cause statement, Webber is facing multiple felony charges and has six active warrants.
Webber was charged with possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without a license and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
