Suspect in custody after “active shooting” in Maries County
The Maries County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person was taken into custody Wednesday night.
According to Sheriff Chris Heitman’s Facebook page, it happened when deputies responded to an active shooting on Highway A.
Right now, they believe no one was injured.
The suspect’s name has not yet been released and the sheriff’s office believes no other suspects are on the loose.
