Department of Corrections inmate dies from apparent natural causes

Missouri Department of Corrections staff announced on Tuesday that offender Kevin Dille, 61, was pronounced dead on Saturday at the Jefferson City Correctional Center.

DOC staff said Dille was serving 35 years for attempted murder, burglary and armed criminal action from Shelby County.

Dille had been in the custody of the Department of Corrections since 2002.

Staff said Dille died of apparent natural causes.
