UPDATE: Pedestrian killed in crash on Highway 63 in Columbia

UPDATE: Columbia Police confirm a man was killed on Highway 63 Saturday night.

Officers on scene tell ABC 17 News it’s unclear how many cars were involved in the crash. CPD’s crash investigative unit was sent to the scene.

The man’s name and age has not yet been released.

ORIGINAL: Emergency responders have shut down both northbound lanes of Highway 63 at the Vandiver exit for a crash.

According to dispatch records, the Columbia Fire Department and Boone Hospital Ambulance were called to the crash on Highway 63 at Route B around 9:45 p.m.

Traffic is being diverted off the Vandiver exit.
