Driver injured in Boone County crash

An Ashland man was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after crashing his truck near Highway 63.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on South Tom Bass Road just north of Route H.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver, Joshua Parker, 32, went off the left side of the road and hit an embankment. He was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Troopers tell ABC 17 News alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
