Every day is Veterans Day at Welcome Home “This Week”

Veterans Day is a day set aside to honor our veterans and the many sacrifices they voluntarily make for us, including the possibility of sacrificing their own lives.

There are an estimated 40,000 homeless veterans on any given night in our nation, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Tim Rich, executive director of Welcome Home, Inc., is our guest for “This Week.” He starts our conversation by telling us how his Columbia organization offers Mid-Missouri homeless vets a chance to change their lives.
