Deputies ask for public’s help in finding escaped inmate from Carter County

The Missouri Information Analysis Center warned the public on Thursday about an escaped inmate out of Carter County.

Deputies said Corey Hause escaped from custody while being transported to the Carter County Jail.

Hause was last seen fleeing north, from Leerjak Truck Stop, across Highway 50, in Ellsinore.

Deputies said Hause was wearing an orange hoodie, black/white jail shirt, black sweats, no shoes, a belly chain and handcuffs.

Officers said Hause is driving a white 2005 Ford Taurus with the a Missouri license plate of PN8Z3D.

Deputies believe he is possibly en-route to Pemiscot County.
