Deputies said the owner of a vehicle discovered that Tabor had unlawfully entered the car and was stealing property found within.

Carter was an accomplice in the attempted theft, deputies said.

Officers said the men admitted that they had unlawfully entered over 200 vehicles.

Tabor was charged with possession of marijuana and multiple counts of stealing.

Carter was charged with stealing, receiving stolen property and stealing.

Deputies said the Sheriff’s Office has taken approximately 61 burglary reports, 122 stealing reports, multiple vehicle tampering reports and 18 vehicle theft reports since August.
