One injured in rollover crash in Boone County

One woman is recovering with minor injuries after rolling her truck into a ditch, a Boone County sheriff’s deputy said.

The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday on Mount Zion Church Road.

According to a deputy at the scene, the woman was driving westbound when it appears she drove off the road into a ditch.

There is a small creek in the ditch and the truck was slightly submerged. The water was not rising and the woman was able to call for help. She was treated at the and refused transport to the hospital.

There were no other people or vehicles involved in the crash.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
