Columbia man arrested after allegedly exposing himself at Jay Dix Station MKT City Park

Julio Landero was arrested for first degree sexual misconduct on Thursday after he was allegedly caught masturbating on a playground at Jay Dix Station MKT City Park.

Columbia police officers were called to a suspicious person at the park. The witness said that she noticed Landero hanging around the playground area and acting suspicious. She also said it looked like Landero didn’t know any of the children at the playground.

She then saw Landero standing next to the slide, appearing to masturbate.

When the witness confronted Landero, he fled on foot. Officers found him in the 3500 Scott Boulevard South and arrested him.
