Columbia Public Works crews pretreat bridges ahead of possible light showers and flurries

Columbia Public Works crews pretreated area bridges on Tuesday with a mixture of salt and beet juice.

Forecasts indicate possible light showers and flurries. Although slickness is not currently predicted, preventative measures were taken as a precaution.
