Callaway County: new map of registered sex offenders, Halloween patrols
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is taking multiple measures to protect its citizens from registered sex offenders in the county.
The office created a new interactive map that shows the location of the sex offenders’ registered home addresses and allows you to compare your current location to the houses. The map also shows the criminal convictions that put them on the registry.

This comes deputies are getting ready to patrol on Halloween to make sure that sex offenders with “Halloween” restrictions are in compliance. Some, but not all, on the registry have the restrictions according to the law.
