Troopers respond to semi-truck crash, driver over-corrected causing the vehicle to overturn

Missouri Sate Highway Patrol troopers responded to an early Friday morning single-car crash on Highway 127.

According to the traffic crash report, the crash happened when a semi-truck traveled off the right side of the road, and the driver over-corrected causing the semi-truck to return to the road and overturn multiple times.

Troopers said the semi-truck was totaled.

The driver, Colter Stevens, 38, had moderate injuries and was transported to the Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
