Boone County deputies investigate after woman injured in domestic dispute

UPDATE 8:20 P.M.: Boone County deputies tell ABC 17 News a child was not abducted. Deputies said Friday night it was a domestic dispute. A woman may have possibly been hit by a vehicle. No other information was released.

ORIGINAL STORY: Boone County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible child abduction, just southwest of Columbia, on Friday night.

It happened around 6:55 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Millbrook Drive, west of Scott Boulevard.

ABC 17 News crews at the scene were told by deputies that investigators were looking into a potential child abduction after a person was hurt.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Their name and condition have not been released.

Deputies are on their way to the hospital to interview the victim.
