Columbia police ask for public’s assistance in identifying suspect involved in downtown assault

The Columbia Police Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect involved in an assault downtown.

Police said the assault happened on Sept. 24 at 1:47 a.m.

Police ask if anyone has any information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to call the department at (573) 874-7652 or Crimestoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
