Three mid-Missouri men plead guilty in federal court to child porn charges
Two Columbia men and a Jefferson City man pleaded guilty in federal court Monday in three separate cases to charges related to child pornography.
Sergio Antonio Dominguez-Gonzalez, 23, of Columbia, pleaded guilty to producing child pornography after sending an undercover detective an email in February, explaining his sexual contact with a 2-year-old and how he filmed it.
Dominguez-Gonzalez could face up to 30 years in federal prison without parole.
Brandon Lee Deavers, 22, of Columbia, pleaded guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography.
On Oct. 19, 2016, investigators found a Samsung tablet and two USB devices in Deavers’s home, which contained evidence of Deavers obtaining child pornography over the Internet.
Deavers could face up to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
Lucas Wayne Slusser, 35, of Jefferson City, pleaded guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography.
In May and June of 2016, a federal agent observed Slusser distributing child pornography on the Kik Messenger platform. On Aug. 26, 2016, agents executed a search warrant at Slusser’s home and took numerous digital devices, including a desktop computer and multiple cell phones.
Slusser could face up to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
