Sedalia police ask for public’s help after finding a man with injuries lying down in wooded area
Sedalia police are asking for the public’s help in finding out what transpired before they arrived in the 1700 block of West Broadway for reports of a man lying down in a small, wooded area.
Police said that when they arrived on the scene, they found a man who had sustained injuries.
The victim was identified as James Gregory, 57, and was taken to a Columbia area hospital.
Police said Gregory’s injuries are critical as of Friday.
Police said anyone who has information concerning Gregory and the reason as to why he was in the area where officers responded to, or who has any knowledge as to why he sustained injuries, is asked to call the police department at 660-826-8100.
