Mizzou athletics relieves Gary Link of his duties

Mizzou athletics has relieved longtime MU basketball radio analyst Gary Link of his duties. He will also no longer be a special assistant to the athletic director.

A Mizzou spokesman would not comment on why Link was let go because it is a personnel matter. The University is currently working with Mizzou Sports Properties to find a replacement.

Link played basketball at Mizzou from 1970-74 under head coach Norm Stewart. He’s been on the Tiger radio broadcast since 1996.
