UPDATE: Lanes reopened after crash near Lake of the Woods exit on I-70 westbound
UPDATE 6 a.m.: Emergency crews reopened the right lane on I-70 westbound near the Lake of the Woods exit around 5:45 a.m.
ORIGINAL: Columbia firefighters closed down a portion of the right lane on I-70 westbound near the Lake of the Woods exit early Wednesday morning because of a crash.
Firefighters said one semi-truck crashed into the guard rail on the highway around 3:30 a.m.
Firefighters said the fuel tank was damaged so they had to call a hazmat crew to the scene.
The driver was not injured, firefighters said.
