MoDOT to close one US 63 southbound lane over Katy Trail for construction
The Missouri Department of Transportation closed one southbound lane on the U.S. 63 bridge over the Katy Trail Wednesday morning for road work.
MoDOT crews will be improving the smoothness of the bridge surface from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The bridge is located about four miles north of Jefferson City and was replaced in August.
One lane will stay open at all times during the construction, and crews said message boards have been placed near the bridge to warn drivers of the lane closure.
