Columbia police arrest man accused of threatening to kill two people with a kitchen knife

Columbia police arrested Thomas Clark on Monday after officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance in the 400 block of Ann Street.

Police said Clark was in a physical disturbance with his male roommate and a woman.

The woman told police Clark had put his hands around her neck and made it hard for her to breath.

Police said Clark had held a kitchen knife to the woman’s throat and threatened to kill her.

The man told police Clark had threatened to kill him if he did not leave the residence. Clark went to the kitchen and came back holding the knife, police said.

Officers said they found the knife in the bedroom where he assaulted the woman.

Clark was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail. He faces possible charges of armed criminal action, domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
