Columbia man accused of choking woman, threatening to kill two people

Columbia police arrested a man after a reported physical disturbance late Monday night.

Officers arrested Thomas Clark, 63, in the 400 block of Ann Street.

Clark reportedly got into a fight with his male roommate and a woman, according to police.

The woman told officers Clark put his hands around her neck and made it hard for her to breath. He then reportedly held a kitchen knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

Clark’s roommate said Clark also threatened to kill him and told him to leave the home.

Officers said they found the kitchen knife in a bedroom where Clark reportedly assaulted the woman.

Clark is currently in the Boone County Jail.

Boone County prosecutors charged him with three felony charges including armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and domestic assault.
