Columbia police schedule north neighborhood community meeting for Thursday

North strategic plan neighborhood leaders and the City of Columbia will host a meeting in the North Neighborhood on Thursday.

The meeting will take place at Derby Ridge Elementary School and is open to all north neighborhood residents.

The meeting is a continuation of previous meetings held in the north neighborhood earlier this year.

In previous meetings, residents have identified goals they would like to achieve.

Some items on Thursday’s agenda includes updates on the North Precinct facility and upcoming neighborhood events.

Columbia police said the meetings are dedicated to making Columbia the best place for everyone to live, work, learn and play.

For those who are interested in attending the meeting, it will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
