Sedalia School District confirms 12-year-old boy dies after ATV crash

The Sedalia School District 200 confirms 12-year-old Artyom Perchak died Monday morning from his injuries sustained in an ATV crash at Finger Lakes State Park over the weekend.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Troopers said Perchak lost control of the ATV and it overturned.

The district posted on their Facebook page, “The entire Sedalia 200 community extends our sincere condolences to his family and friends.”
