Nice fall weather, slow warming trend

TONIGHT: We will have another chilly night as low temperatures drop into the low to mid 40s under clear skies. Winds will come in from the south under 5 mph.

TUESDAY: Perfect fall weather continues with a cool morning, mild afternoon and abundant sunshine. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the low 70s with southerly winds increasing to 12 mph.

EXTENDED: We will have a slow warming trend through the work week with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s by Friday and nights warming into the lower 50s. The entire work week will remain dry with our next chance of rain holding off until late Saturday evening as another cold front drops into the area. It’s too early to tell if this front will bring a severe threat like this past weekend but storms are possible Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s ahead of the cold front Saturday, dropping into the upper 60s Sunday as cooler air moves in.
