4 people injured in separate incidents at Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to four separate incidents on the Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend where people were injured.

Troopers said one man had minor injuries when he was water skiing and hurt his leg.

A woman had minor injuries after she fell in a boat, troopers said.

Troopers said they responded to a crash when a boat struck a wake causing one woman to fall within the vessel. The woman had moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital, troopers said.

Troopers said they also responded to a crash where one boat crashed into another.

Christopher Slama, the driver of the boat that caused the crash, had minor injuries from the crash, but was also arrested and faces possible charges of BWI, and failing to use the highest degree of care, troopers said.
