11-year-old boy sustains minor injuries in ATV crash in Miller County
Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an ATV crash on Missouri Route 87 at Lyons Road on Sunday afternoon.
According to the traffic crash report, the ATV was stopped on MO 87 southbound waiting to make a left turn when a Nissan Altima attempted to pass the ATV in the northbound lane.
Troopers said the Altima struck the ATV, ejecting both occupants from the ATV.
The driver of the ATV, Danny Love, 43, had minor injuries and was taken to Capital Region Hospital.
The passenger of the ATV, the 11-year-old boy had minor injuries and was also taken to Capital Region Hospital.
The crash comes one day after a 12-year-old boy overturned in an ATV and died from his injuries.
