TRAFFIC ALERT: Jefferson City crash slows traffic near Highway 179

A crash near Highway 179 is reportedly delaying traffic in Jefferson City Friday morning.

The Missouri Department of Transportation Central District tweet about the crash at 8:00 a.m with a picture of heavier traffic.

East and westbound traffic was slowed on Route 50 due to the crash. MoDOT said drivers should expect delays in both directions.
