Getting to and from Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival

Thousands of visitors are expected this weekend between Columbia and Jefferson City to visit the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival, which runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Organizers are closing Route A heading into town, so they are sending in cars from the south using Old Highway 63. Afterwards, visitors will be directed out of the event going north through Ashland.
