Columbia man charged with assault, accused of cutting a woman with glass
A Columbia man was charged with assault after officers were dispatched to Leeway Drive Apartments in reference to an assault.
According to the probable cause statement, the victim told police that Kevin Aaron cut her with a piece of glass from a broken window.
The victim told police she was attempting to leave the residence when Aaron cut her back with a piece of glass window.
Officers said they noticed glass to the entry door on one of the apartments was shattered, with small glass shards on the floor near the doorway.
Officers said they noticed a laceration on the victim.
Aaron is currently in the Boone County Jail.
