Camdenton man pleads guilty to child pornography, sentenced to 15 years in prison
A Camdenton man who molested a 10-year-old child pleaded guilty in federal court on Thursday to receiving child pornography over the internet.
Duffy Dean Woodman, 52, pleaded guilty to the charge contained in a April indictment.
The investigation began in 2015 when the Laclede County deputies received a report that a 10-year-old child had been molested by Woodman.
Officers executed a search warrant at Woodman’s residence and seized two laptop computers, two tablets and three cellphones.
Officers said one tablet contained 350 images of child pornography.
Investigators also found 54 child erotica images and 12 bestiality images.
Officers said one laptop had numerous search terms consistent with child pornography activity.
In January of 2016, the Camden County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement asking for the public’s help in finding Woodman, but he turned himself in to a police department.
Woodman will be sentenced to 15 years in federal prison without parole followed by a 10-year term of supervised release.
Woodman is currently in the Morgan County Jail.
