Macon County man arrested, accused of having methamphetamine and marijuana

The Macon Police Department arrested Thomas Sifford after officers were called to the 300 block of South Rubey Street for reports of a possible disturbance.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, Sifford allowed officers to search the residence.

Officers said they found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sifford was arrested and faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is currently in the Macon County Jail with a cash bond of $10,000.
