Hallsville man accused of breaking into Boone County home arrested
A Hallsville man was arrested Monday afternoon after he was accused of breaking into a home in north of Columbia.
Chase R. Wyatt, 31, is expected in Boone County court Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
According to deputies, Wyatt broke into a home in the 13000 block of Highway YY around 3:25 p.m. Monday.
The homeowners reported to deputies that several items were missing.
Investigators said a K-9 brought to the home was able to track Wyatt down.
Wyatt could face several charges including second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, and property damage.
