One dead after crash in Morgan County
One person is dead after a crash in Morgan County.
It happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday on Route J at Peter Pan Drive.
The Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Jason Cleaves drove off the right side of the road before his car went airborne and struck a concrete bridge support. The car landed in a creek bed.
Cleaves was pronounced dead on scene. This is Troop F’s second fatality for October and its 44th fatality of the year.
