Another chance for showers Friday morning

TODAY: Rain chances will decrease into the later afternoon hours as high temperatures reach near 80 with southerly winds up to 10 mph, and gusts as high as 22 mph. This evening looks dry and mild, but muggy for Sports Zone Football Friday. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s throughout the game time hours.

TONIGHT: Another line of showers and thunderstorms will move in Friday night as a cold front moves. The non-severe storms looks to arrive in mid-Missouri after 2 AM. Temperatures will drop into the mid 60s under cloudy conditions. Winds will remain out of the south up to 13 mph with gusts up to 22 mph.

EXTENDED: As the front continues to push south, expect lingering showers Saturday morning, ending by late afternoon. Through the day on Saturday, we will see increasing sunshine with highs reaching the mid 70s. Any remaining showers look to exit to the southeast by 6 PM. Temps will climb into the low 80s Sunday. Some clouds from Tropical Storm Nate will move into areas south of HWY 54 Sunday afternoon and evening but no rain is expected. Spot storms are possible Monday as we reach a high near 80. Rain chances increase Monday night into Tuesday as another cold front moves through, dropping our temperatures for the middle of next week.
