Callaway County man charged with harassment; accused of writing sexual notes about minor

Callaway County authorities have charged Ronald Heck after he was accused of writing sexual notes about a minor.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies were notified about Heck when a woman called claiming she found Heck’s journal containing sexual related entries about her 15-year-old daughter.

Deputies said inside the journal Heck went into detail about how he wanted to have sexual relations with the victim, writing that he would give the victim enough Xanax in her favorite drink to cause her to pass out and not remember anything.

Deputies said they talked with the victim and her 14-year-old friend, who both described Heck making inappropriate jokes towards them and making them feel uncomfortable.

Both victims told deputies that Heck would smack them on their butts, which made them feel uncomfortable.

According to the probable cause statement, Heck has not been able to be reached since the incident and is believed to be in the Columbia area.

Heck is charged with assault and harassment by a person 21 years or older against a person 17 years of age or younger.
