Fulton man arrested, accused of having methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia

Callaway County deputies arrested James Adams, 29, on Tuesday after they spotted a suspicious vehicle on State Road KK.

Deputies said that as they approached Adams’ vehicle, he drove away at a high rate of speed before stopping on County Road 218.

Deputies said during the traffic stop, they found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies said Adams was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Deputies said they continue to work with other law enforcement agencies to curb drug abuse throughout the county.
