Police and Public Works invite community to CPD North Municipal Service Center project meeting

The Columbia Police Department and the Public Works Department have scheduled an open house informational meeting on Oct. 10 to talk about the CPD North Municipal Service Center project.

The meeting will take place at Grace Bible Church from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Police said the purpose of the meeting is to present design concepts for the service center.

Construction of the project is currently scheduled to begin in late 2018.

Police said information and diagrams showing the preliminary design concept will be available for public review and city staff will be there to answer questions.

A public comment form will be available and input will be considered as the design is developed.
