The report contains information on campus security and personal safety, including crime prevention, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, fire safety, fires that occurred in residence halls and other matters regarding the safety on the campus.

The report contains statistics for the three previous calendar years regarding reported crimes that occurred on campus, in non-campus buildings or on property owned and controlled by the university and on public property near or accessible to campus.

Vice Chancellor for MU Operations, Gary Ward said, “Besides providing a quality education to the leaders of tomorrow, safety is our No. 1 priority at Mizzou. It is important that we foster a community where everyone feels safe and welcome.”
