70 year-old woman in serious condition after head-on collision in Maries County
Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to a head-on collision on Highway 133 just east of the Highway 42 junction on Monday morning.
According to the traffic crash report, a Chevrolet Silverado was attempting to pass a Toyota Corolla.
Troopers said the Silverado struck the Corolla head-on.
The Silverado traveled off the left side of the road, the Corolla traveled off the right side of the road, troopers said.
Troopers said the Corolla overturned before coming to a rest.
The Silverado and the Corolla were totaled.
The driver of the Corolla, Doris Humphrey, 70, was in serious condition and transported to Capitol Regional Medical Center.
