UPDATE: Two hospitalized after shooting on Rangeline

UPDATE: 9:20 a.m.: Columbia police confirm at 47-year-old man was shot early Tuesday morning in the 1200 block Rangeline Street.

Officers were called to 1205 Rangeline around midnight Tuesday for a shots heard call.

When officers got there, they say they found one person with a gunshot wound and another with a head injury. Both men were taken the hospital.

Officers found shell casings and property damage to the wall of a business from the bullets. No other injuries or property damage is known at this time.

Police have not said how the men know each other or how they think the two were injured.

ORIGINAL STORY: Columbia Police have confirmed one person was hospitalized after a shooting at 1205 Rangeline Street.

A medical response was dispatched to the address just after midnight on Tuesday. Police said they aren’t releasing any more information at this time.
