Police investigate early morning armed robbery
Columbia police are investigating a reported armed robbery from early Monday morning.
According to police, the robbery happened around 4:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of Grindstone Parkway.
Police say a 21-year-old man woke up to the sound of an argument in his apartment. He told police he heard his roommate “fighting” with two people in the living room.
The victim told police one of the suspects came up to him with a gun. The suspects allegedly demanded money from the victim.
The victim said he laid on the flood and the suspect kicked him before leaving the area without taking any property.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
