Man arrested after reported burglary in North Columbia

On Saturday, Dennis Whitehead was arrested for a reported burglary that took place in the 4300 block of Mexico Gravel Road.

Police say the reported burglary took place on Thursday. The rear door of the residence had been kicked in and items were reportedly stolen.

Officers located a document from a business in town with a name on it. When officers contacted the owner of the document, she said she had loaned her car to Whitehead on Thursday.

Whitehead was located and arrested.

Whitehead could be facing charges of first-degree burglary.
