Temperatures rising back into the 90s

TODAY: A warm up will continue throughout the day, making it feel more like summer, as a southerly breeze and sunny skies bring temperatures to near 90 degrees. Friday evening will be warm for SportsZone Football Friday as temperatures start off in the mid 80s, only dropping to near 80 by 9 PM with mostly clear skies.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will only fall into the mid 60s through the overnight hours under mostly clear skies. There will be a light breeze out of the southeast under 8 mph.

EXTENDED: It will feel slightly more humid as dew points climb into the mid to upper 60s this weekend. The Tigers will have hot weather for the start of the game on Saturday with temperatures near 90 at 3 PM kickoff and will stay in the 80s through the duration of the game. Winds will remain light out of the south under 8 mph. Late Saturday night into Sunday morning there is a chance of thunderstorms, mainly along and north of I-70. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s on Sunday and spot storms will be possible again Sunday afternoon. As a weak warm front slowly moves through, we’ll see continued storm chances through Tuesday as temperatures reach into the mid to upper 80s to start the work week.
