Deputies arrest two after finding multiple drugs in residence, officials say

Deputies with the Moniteau County Sheriffs Office went to a residence located in Lupus on Wednesday to locate a wanted fugitive.

When deputies arrived at the house, they made contact with a man named Joseph Klinefelter who lived at the residence.

Deputies were looking for Ashley Rybolt, a woman they had an active warrant out for her arrest.

Deputies were able to find Rybolt inside the residence and take her into custody.

While inside, deputies noticed drugs and obtained consent to search the rest of the house.

Deputies found marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, prescription controlled medication and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies also took Klinefelter into custody.

Both suspects were transferred to the Moniteau County Jail.

On Thursday, Rybolt was transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections on her warrants and will possibly face drug charges from the items seized.

According to Sheriff Tony Wheatley, the arrests of Rybold and Klinefelter have made an impact in the illegal drug trade in the northern part of the county.

The heroin that was found is the first seizure of its kind in several years, officials said.
