Boonville man charged with leaving drugs in hotel room, resisting arrest

Boonville police officers were called to the Isle of Capri on Wednesday after hotel security personnel reportedly found narcotics in a room.

According to the probable cause statement, officers found a clear plastic bag with a substance inside that tested positively for methamphetamine.

Security personnel alerted officers the room had been just vacated by Bradley Adams and no one had been inside since.

Officers made contact with Adams outside of the hotel, but he fled on foot.

Adams was quickly apprehended in a creek on the hotel property.

Adams was charged with possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
